Nitroform Fertilizer 39-0-0
Nitroform 39-0-0 is a concentrated slow-release nitrogen fertilizer built on urea-formaldehyde (methylene urea) chemistry. It delivers 39% total nitrogen, of which roughly 73% is water-insoluble nitrogen — the fraction that soil microbes meter out gradually over 8 to 12 weeks, rather than releasing all at once with rainfall.
Because most of the nitrogen does not dissolve until microbes break down the polymer, burn risk is very low at label rates and leaching is reduced. This makes Nitroform well suited as the slow-release nitrogen component of turf, tree and shrub, container nursery, and landscape ornamental programs, supporting steady growth and green color across the season. It is a granular product that blends cleanly into custom fertilizer mixes. It is not a quick-correction fertilizer — for fast response, pair it with a quick-release nitrogen source.
Spread evenly over the soil surface, keep granules off trunks and stems, and water in within 24 hours; microbial release is best in soil above 55°F. Nitroform is not water-soluble and is not for hydroponic or foliar use.
CDFA registered and independently lab tested for heavy metals, with results consistently well below required limits.
